- The chain on my trailer valet seems to be looser than originally and is slipping off. Is there a way to tighten it or do I need a whole new chain?

Unfortunately you are not able to remove the links from our chains, the more weight applied to the unit will allow the chain to tighten up. I would suggest adding more tongue weight to your trailer.
