What trailers can the Trailer Valet RVR handle?

The RVR can move RVs, boats, and other towable trailers of any size, provided they are within the weight capacity of the selected model (3,500 lbs, 5,500 lbs, 9,000 lbs, or 12,000 lbs).

Will the RVR work with double-axle trailers and A-frame trailer setups?

Yes. The RVR works with double-axle trailers when weight is properly distributed and attaches to the trailer frame rather than the coupler, making it suitable for trailers with batteries, winches, and propane tanks mounted on the tongue.

Can the RVR operate on slopes, gravel, grass, and uneven terrain?

Yes, the RVR can handle packed uneven terrain and certain inclines depending on trailer weight, weight distribution, and surface conditions. It is not recommended for sand, mud, rocky, or loose surfaces.

Is the Trailer Valet RVR motorized?

Yes. The RVR is fully motorized and powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, allowing trailer movement via remote control.

How long does the battery last?

Battery runtime is approximately 30–45 minutes of continuous use, depending on trailer weight and operating conditions.

Can the RVR remain attached while towing the trailer?

No. The RVR must be removed before transport. Only the 5X model can remain attached in its stow position.

What safety features does the RVR include?

The RVR features an integrated automatic brake that engages when the motor stops, helping maintain control of the trailer during operation.

Will the RVR work with all of my trailers if it works with my heaviest one?

Not necessarily. Performance depends on factors such as trailer size, weight distribution, frame design, and coupler configuration, not just total weight.

Can the RVR be exposed to water or submerged?

No. The RVR should not be submerged in fresh or salt water, as this can damage the internal electronics.

How do I maintain the RVR and improve traction if the treads slip?

Perform maintenance every three months by cleaning the unit and lubricating chains and bushings. If traction is poor, shift more weight toward the trailer tongue and remove debris from the operating surface.
