Bought the Trailer Valet 5x
"Bought the Trailer Valet 5x and have used it for my 17 ft travel trailer and purchased an extra mount for my cargo trailer. This is a game changing idea for positioning trailers. It is super easy to use and is fantastic for hitching. So much simpler to drive the trailer to the hitch rather than endlessly positioning and repositioning the tow vehicle. It is very easy to move the trailer into tight spots even when I was in a wheel chair with a broken leg. The 5x will easily move the trailer up/down my sloped driveway from the street and eliminates the need for tricky maneuvering around obstacles. I bought the drill attachment and I use an 90 degree adapter on my drill. The drill attachment works fine but it really isn’t necessary. The hand crank is plenty quick and isn’t much effort to use. One thing to note is that the brake/lock mechanism is not a friction brake but more of a locking mechanism so you must use the crank and reverse torque to slow the 5x on a slope not the brake locking mechanism. Overall the 5x is an amazing tool that eliminates the hard physical labor of moving a trailer around. both to park it or to hitch. For those who have difficulty backing up a trailer properly with the 5x mover you can simply unhitch the trailer and drive the trailer into proper place without having to back up at all (although you really should learn to back up your trailer). The build quality is good but not perfect as the lower locking pin is very tight and is almost impossible to use. I was hoping to store the 5x in the horizontal position when traveling but the clearance is too tight for driving so I just pop it off and store it in the tow vehicle. That issue is specific to my set up because I have a relatively short space for mounting between my propane bottles and the hitch. I use the 5x along side a electric jack/foot on my travel trailer. Overall I’m very pleased with the 5x and recommend it to everyone with the need to precisely move a trailer."
